A Parent’s Heart,
An Educator’s Expertise
I am running for the Clarkstown Central School Board because I believe deeply in the power of public education to shape not only individual futures, but the strength of our entire community. As a speech-language pathologist for nearly 15 years, I have spent my career advocating for children, collaborating with educators and families, and ensuring that students receive the individualized support they need to succeed. I have seen how thoughtful policies, strong leadership, and adequate resources directly impact student outcomes. My goal is to help ensure that our district remains academically strong, fiscally responsible, and student-centered—while continuously evolving to meet the changing needs of our children. I am committed to promoting transparent decision-making, strengthening communication between families and the district, and supporting programs that foster both academic excellence and social-emotional well-being.
As a mom of two children in the district, I am personally invested in the success of the Clarkstown Central School District. I understand the hopes, concerns, and expectations that parents have because I share them. I want our schools to continue to be places where every child feels seen, supported, and challenged. My professional background gives me insight into special education, early intervention, and the importance of communication between families and schools—while my role as a parent keeps me grounded in the everyday realities our families face.
I believe our schools must provide a strong and equitable education for every student. That means maintaining high academic standards while ensuring that all children—regardless of ability, background, or learning style—have access to the resources and opportunities they need to succeed. Equity is about meeting students where they are, removing barriers to learning, and making sure every classroom is equipped to support diverse learners. I am committed to advocating for inclusive practices, data-driven decision-making, and thoughtful allocation of resources so that all students can thrive.
Strong schools are built on collaboration, transparency, and a shared commitment to student success. By running for the Clarkstown Central School Board, I hope to serve our community with integrity, advocate for students of all abilities, and help ensure that our district continues to deliver an excellent, equitable education that prepares every child for a bright future.
